My first arrival in Mexico dates back to 2011. At the time, I was embedded in the glitz and glamour of Los Angeles, managing celebrity security. My professional journey in the realm of security began in Israel, providing “real security” to government dignitaries. Transitioning from such high-stakes operations to counteracting paparazzi details was certainly a change of pace.

However, Mexico stole my heart. The year 2011 was marked by President Calderon’s peak offensive against the drug cartels, a tumultuous period that I found myself drawn towards. Fast-forward to the present day, over a decade later, I am now a Mexican permanent resident. I speak Spanish, own a home, and spearhead extensive security operations across the country. Mexico has gifted me invaluable lessons and opportunities.

A significant part of my journey with Voyager Solutions in Mexico has revolved around carrying out risk assessments for large American companies eyeing expansion into this vibrant country. One such venture took us to Nuevo Leon, Monterey, an economic stronghold with a burgeoning commercial scene. Our task was to ensure our clients could safely navigate the complex landscape, mitigating any potential risks.
